Finally, I visited Brussels. It was kind of hurry though.
Yesterday 3 am I got up, 4.30 am Taxi came to pick me up to the Airport, my flight to Brussels was at 6 am with Swiss Air via Zurich.
The flights didn't take long, but the way to my hotel took longer, because I got somehow lost, luckily the people in Brussels are all very kind and helpful, I reached my hotel, which located in an area with lots of great shops.
This day got very nice weather in the morning and was the only time we could see the sunshine.
After my friend and I met each other at our hotel, we started our journey. It took at least one hour for us to find the way to the train station Centrum. Then we heard someone fighting, and we saw someone bleeding, really scary.
We walked a bit and felt hungry, then decided to eat somewhere in the seafood street. It was a big wok with full of seafood on it, such as. It was delicious, but the price was terribly high, we were absolutely shocked. At that moment, I understood why the waiters said always "I love u" ( in Chinese) to us, hehe.
We visited some attractions with heavy rain and strong wind, and we eager to find the ATM from Deutsche Bank, but they didn't have any. After a short rest in hotel, the Finnish girl who I chatted online with picked us up to the Irish Bar. The first one was really nice, we wanted so bad to stay there, shamed that it was full. Then we went to another one, it was not as good as the first one, but I can see all the things happening normally just in movies, quite interesting. Luckily, we got local to guide us, things turned easier.
The second day after we had a nice breakfast, we went out for some other attractions with heavy rain. It was awful but one can never know when the weather good or not...
After Farewell with Brussels, I took the train to Amsterdam.
The train from Brussels was awful, it was full and dirty. Luckily, I needed to change another train. The one from Netherlands was much more modern. It was almost 10pm when I arrived in Amsterdam. Actually, I could take the Tram to my hotel (takes just 15 minutes and could find my hotel easily), but I chose Taxi (I was tired, didn't wanna search anymore.) I didn't like the Taxi drivers from Amsterdam at all. They raised the price very high first then discussed with the passengers, and they wouldn't send you to your destination, just stopped somewhere and told you how to get to the hotel, that's just cheating. And, they didn't care the safety of the passengers much and the people outside of the car, it was really awkward.
However, without any problems I arrived at my hotel (Vodel Hotel) which is closed to Vodel Park. It's a very nice modern hotel, it surprised me really a lot, I had spent very comfortable time inside.
The second day's morning had very heavy rain, I thought I might stay at the hotel the whole day, but I must go out because I had an appointment with my college colleague. First I took the Tram to Central Station, then to the red light district, it was almost empty because I guess it was daytime, but I heard there happens often the robbing cases, so I took the Tram again to Dam Square. Then I met my colleague there and having lunch together in a Cantonese restaurant. It was nice to meet her again after 5 years... Nevertheless, it was short and hurry, I came to Amsterdam, mostly because I knew someone there, it's really the first time that I am totally alone in a strange city, and, I don't like the feeling. I think it was also my last time traveling totally alone. Next time I need to really make sure if someone I know from my destinations is available for me or not.
Anyway, though I was totally alone, non-direction. I got everything I want through in Amsterdam, the people were very nice and helpful, I really appreciated. And, I could understand the Dutch sometimes, that surprised me.
The trips to Brussels and Amsterdam were not long, the weather was bad, but I do enjoy them, it's a new experience and an adventurous for me. I am happy about that.

5.October
Today got really bad weather in Stuttgart, it was a bit freezing.
The food on the 2nd flight from Zurich to NY JFK was delicious, it was really a long flight maybe because no talkable person like last time besides...
After sticking into the 2 hours-traffic jam and eating something in Panera Bread, I went to bed around half past 10.
6.October
Again in Panera Bread (it's the closest spot to reach with car from my hotel in Woodcliff) for breakfast, though I do prefer Starbucks more; in PB I got the huge cup of cappuccino which I've never had before, with it, I could spend the whole day there.
At noon, I went to the Macy's for some shopping, then lunch in the Lebanon restaurant, it´s quite interesting, the food style is similar as Greek and Turkish, or even can say it's the combination from both. After having some sport, it's time to pack my belongings for the upcoming journey to Miami. The flight will be at 7am tomorrow, so I must get up at 3am and the Limo will arrive at 4.15am, it's really tough...
7.October
This early morning I was forced to be awake at 2am because of the noisy argument from the neighboring room. It was not expecting but somehow it helped me to get ready for the trip in time.
After check-out from Marriott, we got inside the Limo and head to the Newark airport. One thing I can easily remember from this airport is, no mailbox exists.
Now I'm on board and typing what's in my mind on the iPhone, it's really practical.
It's nice to enjoy the sunrise, especially during the flight, the reflection on the ocean Atlantic looks so warm and bloody, you can hardly find where the end is. With such beautiful view, I guess I'm totally awake and start getting more and more excited of the exotic spot, I'm always exited and happy to get to know the new stuffs, new destinations and new buddies.
The flight lasts 2 hours 18 minutes. It's really hot, sunshine and beaches, that's what I will get soon.
We took the cab to our hotel, which located in south beach, then walked out a bit to the main street- Lincoln road, shopping.
The beach is just fantastic, now I can understand why it's so famous in the world, I love it a lot. One can really spend the whole day or even the whole life here. I always wanna jog beside the beach, this time I finally made it, on 8.Oct morning, I jogged at the beach with very strong sea wind, it's really amazing, I would love to live here just because of Miami beach jog. Hehe.
Here got lots of restaurants, the Yamada Sushi is my favorite. Oh Apple Store, as an Apple geek you gonna visit each original Apple store on earth; I have visited the London one, 4 of 5 stores in New York (except the one in Soho), the one in Woodcliff lake and now the one in Miami beach. Nuts!!
The Deco style on Ocean Drive is somehow famous and special... Using inexpensive materials, architects managed to create an impression of stylishness for what were, in face, very modest hotels. Such style or even Design is not my favorite, but I´m pleased that they also made the colorful lifeguard huts in South Beach to match the style and colors from Ocean Drive...
9. October: Heart of the Sunshine State
This morning we went to the beach last time for jogging and a quick swimming. Then we head to the Miami airport to catch our rental car with navigation for the next destination: heart of the sunshine state- central Florida & Orlando.
I'm really excited, again. During the drive, we didn't get so many traffic jams, everything goes perfectly: empty highway, blue sky, nice views; 3 and a half hours drive seems a piece of cake for me, especially with Starbucks every 8 miles sometimes.
In the service plaza, you can get lots of information of the attractions in Orlando and around, I start concerning if I get enough time to visit all these things, it's really a lot to see, one should spend 2 weeks instead of 4 days there.
We just passed the Disney Outlet, our hotel (Buena Vista Palace hotel & spa) at Lake Buena Vista must be somewhere around.
Now we arrived, got the room card. I must say, it's a very nice, grand hotel, compares to the one we were at the Miami beach is just like from hell to heaven (got the wrong impression from the photos of that hotel online)...
It was around 4pm when we arrived, we were all tired... After calling my high school colleague in Orlando, we went to Downtown Disney... There got a lot of shops with all the Disney products and the restaurants with Disney themes... It´s really a heaven for the kids!!
10. October
We took the shuttle bus before 9am to Epcot. It just opened, without any queues, we were on our way to Mission: Mars. It's a nice feeling to experience the Mars by myself... It was comfortable with the green level...
14. October
The best hotel I lived in around the trip were the Buenas Vista Plaza & Spa in Walt Disney Resort and Marriot Woodcliff, the Hilton Woodcliff I lived in yesterday was so so... Whatever, I've spent a stressful day today.
It's really disaster to find a parking place inside NYC, especially on Sunday or some special events with roadblocks... It's also crazy to spend 15$/hour for the parking, with 15$ can park for 10 hours in Stuttgart.
It was very nice to meet my primary school teacher again after 15 years in Flushing, there got a very good Cantonese restaurant called "Guangzhou restaurant", highly recommended. The taste of Dim-Sum is just like the one in Guangzhou, I envy sometimes that my colleague/friend lives just 10 minutes beside.
After that we went to sing karaoke, that was really cool, I love it.
But then on our way to Newark airport we stuck inside the New York traffic jam which was the most terrible things ever.
Thank god I reached in time for check-in and waiting for boarding now... I guess next time i'd better choose a no-flights day for karaoke and all other stuffs... :p
