Finally, I visited Brussels. It was kind of hurry though.
Yesterday 3 am I got up, 4.30 am Taxi came to pick me up to the Airport, my flight to Brussels was at 6 am with Swiss Air via Zurich.
The flights didn't take long, but the way to my hotel took longer, because I got somehow lost, luckily the people in Brussels are all very kind and helpful, I reached my hotel, which located in an area with lots of great shops.
This day got very nice weather in the morning and was the only time we could see the sunshine.
After my friend and I met each other at our hotel, we started our journey. It took at least one hour for us to find the way to the train station Centrum. Then we heard someone fighting, and we saw someone bleeding, really scary.
We walked a bit and felt hungry, then decided to eat somewhere in the seafood street. It was a big wok with full of seafood on it, such as. It was delicious, but the price was terribly high, we were absolutely shocked. At that moment, I understood why the waiters said always "I love u" ( in Chinese) to us, hehe.
We visited some attractions with heavy rain and strong wind, and we eager to find the ATM from Deutsche Bank, but they didn't have any. After a short rest in hotel, the Finnish girl who I chatted online with picked us up to the Irish Bar.  The first one was really nice, we wanted so bad to stay there, shamed that it was full. Then we went to another one, it was not as good as the first one, but I can see all the things happening normally just in movies, quite interesting. Luckily, we got local to guide us, things turned easier.
The second day after we had a nice breakfast, we went out for some other attractions with heavy rain. It was awful but one can never know when the weather good or not...

After Farewell with Brussels, I took the train to Amsterdam.
The train from Brussels was awful, it was full and dirty. Luckily, I needed to change another train. The one from Netherlands was much more modern. It was almost 10pm when I arrived in Amsterdam. Actually, I could take the Tram to my hotel (takes just 15 minutes and could find my hotel easily), but I chose Taxi (I was tired, didn't wanna search anymore.) I didn't like the Taxi drivers from Amsterdam at all. They raised the price very high first then discussed with the passengers, and they wouldn't  send you to your destination, just stopped somewhere and told you how to get to the hotel, that's just cheating. And,  they didn't care the safety of the passengers much and the people outside of the car, it was really awkward.
However, without any problems I arrived at my hotel (Vodel Hotel) which is closed to Vodel Park. It's a very nice modern hotel, it surprised me really a lot, I had spent very comfortable time inside.
The second day's morning had very heavy rain, I thought I might stay at the hotel the whole day, but I must go out because I had an appointment with my college colleague. First I took the Tram to Central Station, then to the red light district, it was almost empty because I guess it was daytime, but I heard there happens often the robbing cases, so I took the Tram again to Dam Square. Then I met my colleague there and having lunch together in a Cantonese restaurant. It was nice to meet her again after 5 years... Nevertheless, it was short and hurry, I came to Amsterdam, mostly because I knew someone there, it's really the first time that I am totally alone in a strange city, and, I don't like the feeling. I think it was also my last time traveling totally alone. Next time I need to really make sure if someone I know from my destinations is available for me or not.
Anyway, though I was totally alone, non-direction. I got everything I want through in Amsterdam, the people were very nice and helpful, I really appreciated. And, I could understand the Dutch sometimes, that surprised me.
The trips to Brussels and Amsterdam were not long, the weather was bad, but I do enjoy them, it's a new experience and an adventurous for me. I am happy about that.
